Can We Redact Names From A Seller Disclosure Report Or Form 2?

At present, SearchX does not support the redaction of names or signatures from our Seller Disclosure Reports or Form 2s. This is because any such redaction would technically invalidate the disclosure, making it non-compliant under Queensland’s seller disclosure regime.

To rely on a disclosure statement contractually, it must be complete and transparent - including the full name and signature of the seller.

That said, we understand there may be marketing or privacy reasons for sharing a version of the disclosure report publicly. While this feature is not currently available, we have added it to our list and will explore adding a functionality to redact names and signatures solely for the purposes of preview or marketing. Please note, however, that the final version provided to the purchaser must remain fully unredacted.
